Social Media Studies
The Young Adult Social Media Study and the Caregiver Social Media Study are funded by pilot grants from the UCSF Department of Psychiatry. These studies aim to determine whether justice-involved young adults and caregivers of justice-involved youth can be recruited into research through social media platforms and their preferences for digital health interventions. These studies include an online survey of justice-involved young adults (N = 140), and an online survey (N = 169) and qualitative interviews with caregivers of justice-involved youth. Qualitative interviewing is currently underway with caregivers across the United States.
